....the fourteenth theme in the Art Girl's Altered Book Round Robin. I created these pages in Alyshia's book. My inspiration for this came from the book and poem "The Red Thread - A LOVE STORY" Written by Leslie Walters and Designed by Paul Dashwood.
This is a very simple piece. The background is Golden Titan Buff with a gel medium transfer on top. The stamping & stencelling is done using Golden Quin Crimson. The button 'made of pearly shell' is sewn onto a scrap of beautiful red silky material, with the red thread then placed across the page. The first four lines of the poem are included on the page.
So simple, yet so effective - I love this page Ursula.

Wow - totally love your stencilled borders - the colour is brilliant against the subtle bg; love the poem too!
